I have had the great honor of being selected out of over 600 applicants to be one of the 2026 "Heartists" for the Kansas City Parade of Hearts. This public art experience celebrates Kansas City's creativity, culture and compassion through the display of 150 hearts throughout the greater Kansas City area. "This piece celebrates the quiet, joyful connection between nature and the human experience. Echinacea reaches skyward like a child seeking comfort, while rabbits dance beneath the moon’s phases, full of curiosity and play. Black and white with touches of orange, the work invites viewers to feel wonder and remember that all life—plants, animals, humans, and celestial cycles—is interconnected, growing and changing together."
